Hahaha!! Bryce, I have a bunch of different flavors if you're up for trying some more faux jerky:)
For all of you that haven't tried the "meatless jerky" delicacy; you're missing out:)

Probably could have gone just a little heavier.
Fun warmup, kept me on my toes.

I'm traveling and my hotel has a crappy workout room (what's new?), so my WOD was 10 rounds of 10 pushups, 10 sit ups, 10 squats. About 15 minutes.

Alison, you sign up for regionals today, and you can watch me sample every flavor you have. Deal?

What is the amount of reps for the OHP?
Posted by: Princess | February 04, 2009 at 11:47 AM
Princess: it's 5 reps
Posted by: Emily | February 04, 2009 at 12:02 PM

This was a rough one for me. Had a hard time with the jerks. 1st round unbroken, remaining rounds split into a little of everything. Again, burpees were the rest on this WOD.
Bryce, you might have a deal. Just seeing your reaction may be worth it:)

Hurry and sign up before they sell out. it would be great to have a fearsome foursome out in colorado. plus i mean all the cool kids are doing it...

MESSAGE TO THE NIGHT CREW: Have an idea of what your max shoulder press is. You will most likely be working with a weight somewhere in that vicinity. Remember, we're going for highest power output possible. Doing a weight that you have to rest 30 seconds between each set is not going to give you the benefit we want. This WOD should be done in under 12 minutes, and from the looks of what has been done already today by Emily, Alison, and Ben probably closer to sub 10.

and yes that goes for you too patrycja. do i hear mandie asking for a shout out as well? fact is 100 women have not yet registered and it opened last sunday so that means you may not actually have to beat 99 other girls to qualify for the world games. either way it's going to be a great experience, so why not. Here you go: http://www.rockymountainregionalcrossfitgames.com/

Alex, I dunno if my physical stamina is where was in the summer. I'll go to watch and support you and Bryce but in terms of actually competing not sure. Maybe I'll do it if one of the other girls do but that is a big MAYBE.

Thanks Emily. And eric, you son of a bitch this is going to be nothing for you isn't it haha.
Bryce what do you think about 155# for me?

The 5 stages of a WOD that I experience:
1. Denial - No damn way I can finish this.
2. Anger - Damnit Rudy (or Bryce or Alex).
3. Bargaining - Ok, I can just stop half way. That will be fine.
4. Depression - That's it, this workout is going to kill me this time, I just know it.
5. Acceptance - F*ck it. I've got 10 more reps.
Sound familiar to anyone else??

Patrycja - I'm already signed up for it. I made the depressing discovery last night, however, that my friend's wedding is on May 16, so now I have to decide which to go to. Ugh.

Gotta work on midline stability. Had to break up 2nd to 5th sets 3,2. Burpees were a nice break.

First and fifth sets of burpees unbroken, all sets of press unbroken. Definately could have gone with more weight.
