Took me 3x to get my PR of 205, wasn't pretty but I did it. Have to work on my glutes to get the lockout.

Has anyone ever heard of an inverted burpee?

Maybe we should pair it up with virtual shovelling.

Rudy checked out the khalipa king kong vid and yes i think that's how the workout is supposed to look as in like it was difficult. i think josh everett was working with lighter weights haha or so it seemed. i'm a ways off from that wod but when i'm ready we for sure gotta shoot it. it may take me 10 mins but if I can do it then i'll give it a shot down the road. khalipa's muscle ups aren't pretty but he gets up there and how bout the extra deadlift he fits in b/w reps of the clean, just nonsense.

I guess every CrossFit firebreather throws in a little somethin something. You might just have to do HSPUs off boxes or parallettes to increase ROM. Congrats on your Level I Cert!!! You have to tell us about your second WOD.

Inverted Burpees? I love it! Check out all the whining on the Mainsite; let's show those west coast wussies how we do it in Chicago!
Also, I am totally in for bowling!

350-375-395 (pr)- 400f-400f-400f--400 (pr)
Very disappointed in today's results, my CFT deadlift was 390 2 months ago, I think I should have been able to go heavier today.
Couple lessons learned though that will help me in the future:
1. Give more rest between reps. Even though I didnt feel tired my muscles were not able to get out 400 even though 395 was relatively easy. On the 7th attempt I forced myself to sit down for 10 mins, get some water, then did some explosive calisthenics to warm back up.
2. Stay warmed up. I did 30 jacks, 2 T-pushups, then 3 rounds of the crossfit warmup at the beginning, but once I got into the 7 sets of deadlifts, I performed my rep then waited. For the 7th rep, I did some high jumps and some body squats to get the blood flowing first.
Happy to break the 400 mark at the least :) I'll be smarter next time about loading and rest time.

Set and reset my PR from my CrossFit Total of 355 back in September. Been doing the IF thing and did this workout on a 21-hour fast after a crappy weekend of eating and drinking. Felt pretty good!

Everybody was setting crazy pr's tonight, so I had to give 455 a go. Wasn't happening tonight. Form felt pretty solid though. Congrats to all you pr'ers.
